Zero Tolerance Policy for Inappropriate and Abusive Behavior
Sexual harassment is prohibited by federal, state, and local laws. It applies equally to men and women and is generally defined by the law as unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature.
Sexual harassment may include, but is not limited to:
• subtle or overt pressure for sexual favors
• inappropriate touching
• lewd, sexually oriented comments or jokes
• foul or obscene language
• repeated requests for dates
• unwanted sexual advances
• written or oral references to sexual conduct, gossip regarding one’s sex life, comments about an individual’s body, comments about an individual’s sexual activity, deficiencies, or prowess
• leering, whistling, brushing up against the body, sexual gestures, or suggestive or insulting comments
• inquiries into one’s sexual experiences
• discussion of one’s sexual activities
If sexual harassment occurs, the individual will be banned and may be prosecuted according to the law.

Massage will be terminated immediately; should a client make any sexual advances or requests. Even questionable sexual discussion, can be cause for termination as per the Therapist’s discretion.
Massage therapy is for therapeutic purposes only and is in NO WAY SEXUAL.
This is a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY.
Please RESPECT the professional boundaries that exist between Therapist and Client.
A session will not be conducted if the client is intoxicated or using drugs.
Verbal harassment or intimidation will not be tolerated as the LMT cannot maintain proper Therapeutic Boundaries or provide effective unbiased treatment under threat of retaliation or coercion.
If any of these behaviors take place within Clinic setting, the LMT has the right to stop treatment and ask the Client to leave the premise.
The Client will be held accountable for full payment of their session booked, in order to compensate for the time which was held exclusively on their behalf

No show/cancellation policy
1. Whenever possible please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel. I understand that stuff can happen last minute and if that happens on occasion there will be no penalty. HOWEVER, if this policy is abused then a credit/debit card on file and/or payment at the time of scheduling will be required to hold the time slot.
2. All no-shows will be charged 50% of the regular price for the amount of time booked in order to compensate for the time which was held exclusively on your behalf. An invoice will be sent and if necessary it will be taken to small claims court. If you wish to schedule another appointment, a credit/debit card on file and/or 50% of the regular price for your appointment to be paid at the time of scheduling will be required in order to hold the time slot.
Massage Guidelines and Expectations
1. Massage sessions will begin and end at the scheduled time. Sessions that begin late due to the client's late arrival will end at the scheduled time and the client will be billed for the full time.
2. All clients will be treated with respect and dignity. Personal and professional boundaries will be respected at all times.
3. Clients must provide an accurate health history and agree to inform their therapist of any updates or changes to their health/medical condition.
4. Any client with a contagious condition including common cold, influenza, stomach flu, coronavirus, meningitis, shingles, contagious skin conditions, etc. must not come into the office, but call to inform the therapist before scheduled appointment time. Clients may reschedule their appointment after the contagious condition has resolved.
5. Clients with signs of symptoms of an active systemic or localized infection (e.g. fever, sore throat, swelling, etc.) at the time of a scheduled massage are asked to notify their therapist and reschedule their appointment.
6. Massage therapists only provide therapeutic massage and modalities that are within the scope of practice for this licensed profession.
7. Clients with acute injuries or conditions that are outside of the scope of practice for massage should consult with their doctor.
8. All clients will be appropriately draped with a sheet at all times during the massage session. Only the area(s) of the body that are currently being worked will be exposed. The genital area is never exposed or massaged.
9. Client privacy and confidentiality will be maintained at all times.
10. This is a non-smoking, odor-neutral massage office.
11. All clients are provided with a competent and professional massage that focuses on the needs of each individual client.
12. Harassment of any kind is not tolerated and the session will be terminated if this occurs, or if the practitioner's safety is compromised in any way.
13. Appointments are confirmed between one to two days prior to the scheduled appointment.
